My sentiments exactly, Dazz.

That would never have happened even a year ago, John, and I hope the board becomes as meaningful to you as it used to be for me. We're seeing less and less of the people posting here who used to make HOD a class act. Why? I think you've just seen why. Once upon a time a mature and respectful manner prevailed, i.e. adults presided and exchanged views. Nowadays the junior high kids are running rampant with their fart jokes.

Maybe a locked board of the old school HOD people could be created and the frustrated comedians could press their faces to the glass looking in wishing they could be part of it.

Welcome aboard, John! I'm a newcomer myself. In the short amount of time I've been registered, I've really enjoyed it. In the event they ever do lock out the youngsters, I hope they make exceptions for "new" old dogs such as myself!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Not intending to offend anyone, but one of the things that makes this board great is the fact that most posters take care when posting to write clearly. I would to hate to have to wade through posts such as "Do u think guys like dave weckl or virgil donati n all made lots of mistakes at their first ever gigs like most people or were they just so good???" in order to get to the quality posts I'm used to reading here. It's just a matter of respect to the community, isn't it?
